To Valued BoardStrong User, We designed our matching platform to provide significant value to board candidates and organizations searching for ways to strengthen their community by building their local nonprofit boards. Based on user feedback, we have continued to make adjustments and upgrades to the BoardStrong match experience. We have received numerous emails from organizations who have successfully found and placed new board members, and every day more users are logging on for the first time and completing their profiles. The technology powering the BoardStrong match system is complex, and we have devoted a lot of time, funding and staff resources into making this program successful. While it has been a labor of love for all of us, we must ensure we have the financial support necessary to keep the system operating smoothly.  To that end, we have implemented a small fee for each new board posting. The first tier ($25) will fund the posting for 90 days; the second tier ($45) will fund it for 180 days. This change will also ensure that the postings on the site accurately reflect the current needs of our nonprofit community. Some organizations will not be prompted for a charge if it falls within the grant catchment area of one of our generous funders. This adjustment will be automatically applied.
